because i made a list at the beginning of 2022 with the books i wanted to read for the year and i saw that it helped me a lot when deciding my next read im doing this again so here’s some books i definitely wanna read in 2023 (the list is not ranked, it’s simply the ones that come to mind sooner than others)

- house of leaves by mark z. danielewski
- slaughterhouse five by kurt vonnegut
- oranges are not the only fruit by jeanette winterson (more of her books in general tbh)
- jonathan strange and mr norrell by susanna clarke
- the red tent of bologna by john berger
- the summer book by tove jansson
- robert capa: a biography by richard whelan
- on photography by susan sontag
- our share of night by mariana enriquez
- wise children by angela carter
- crying in h mart by michelle zauner
- julius ceasar by william shakespeare
i also wanna add some more italian books this year but i haven’t decided on some titles yet, will add some once i do!
